Michalis Vasios

Michalis Vasios is an Economist in the Market Infrastructure Directorate of the Bank of England. His role involves research on the design of financial markets, in particular on issues related to the reforms (eg clearing and trading obligation) of derivatives markets. More broadly, his research interests lie in the areas of market microstructure, behavioural finance, and financial econometrics. He holds a PhD in Finance from University of Warwick and a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from London School of Economics.
