Chief Economist for Spain, BBVA Research at BBVA Research

Miguel Cardoso has a PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Economics Faculty of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Since August 2004, he has been a member of the BBVA Research team, where he has served as Senior Economist for Latin America and Emerging Markets, Chief Economist for Chile, and is currently Chief Economist for Spain.
