Mirko Wiederholt

Mirko Wiederholt is Professor of Economics at LMU Munich since 2021. He is also a Research Professor at Deutsche Bundesbank, a CEPR Research Fellow for two program areas (Monetary Economics and Fluctuations, International Macroeconomics and Finance), a CESifo Research Fellow, and a Research Fellow of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, was an assistant professor of Economics at Humboldt University Berlin and Northwestern University (Illinois), and a full professor of Economics at Goethe University Frankfurt and Sciences Po Paris, where he is currently on leave. He served as a member of the editorial board of the Review of Economic Studies from 2013-2021 and a member of the board of directors of the Review of Economic Studies from 2018-2021.
