Monika Glavina

PhD Student in Law at Ku Leuven

Monika Glavina is a research assistant with the EUTHORITY Project and a PhD student in law at the Centre for Legal Theory and Empirical Jurisprudence. Her PhD dissertation focuses on the application of EU law by national judges in Central and Eastern European Member States, as well as on the knowledge, experiences and attitudes of Slovenian and Croatian judiciaries with regard to the application of EU law. She obtained a Master of Arts in Human Rights at the Legal Department of Central European University (2015, with distinction), a Master of Science in Social Policy at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb (2014, magna cum laude) and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Faculty of Law in Zagreb (2013, magna cum laude).
