Monique Ebell

Monique Ebell (Ph.D. Universitat Pompeu Fabra, 2000) is a Research Fellow at the National Institute for Economic and Social Research and is a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics. She is a macroeconomist whose work focuses on business cycles, unemployment, labour force participation, asset prices and the stability of currency arrangements. She is also interested in the macroeconomic impact of financial regulation. Monique was previously affiliated with the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, Humboldt-University of Berlin, the Study Centre Gerzensee of the Swiss National Bank and the University of Berne. She has also been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and the Universite de Lausanne.
