Muhammad Asali is a Senior lecturer at the College of Management Academic Studies, Israel; adjunct professor of international affairs at Columbia University; adjunct professor of economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and IZA research fellow. Previously a professor of economics, and the head of graduate studies, at the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University. His research interests focus on labor economics, applied microeconomics, macro labor economics, international finance, and conflict resolution. Asali has published in the Journal of Applied Econometrics, the European Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Comparative Economics, and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, among others.
