Nadja Dwenger is Professor of Economics at University of Hohenheim. Her research contributes to a better understanding of the role of state institutions and aims at designing more effective government policies. She has closely collaborated with diverse public institutions and her work on education, taxation, and tax enforcement, has impacted public policy at home and abroad. Her current research focuses on the development of state institutions and on tax enforcement. She has published in leading journals such as the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Games and Economic Behavior, and Journal of Public Economics.She is a Research Fellow at CESifo and a Research Affiliate at CEPR. She received her PhD from Freie Universität Berlin in 2010.
