Nan Li

Nan Li is a Deputy Division Chief at the Research Department of the IMF and formerly an associate editor of the IMF Economic Review. She specializes in international macroeconomics, trade, business cycles, innovation and economic growth. Her research papers have been published in various top academic journals, including the Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics, American Economic Journal: Macro. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University in 2007 and was at the Ohio State University as an Assistant Professor before moving to the IMF in 2011.
