Naomi Kodama

Naomi Kodama is an Associate Professor of Economics at Hitotsubashi University and a Consulting Fellow at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry. She specialises in labour economics. Her research interests focus on the relationship between gender diversity and human resources management (HRM) or policy, and the impact of globalisation and information technology on labour markets.Prior to Hitotsubashi University, she was involved in Research and Statistical Activities at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Kyoto University and a B.A. from the University of Tokyo.She has published in leading journals including Applied Economics, Applied Economics Letters, and Asian Economic Papers.
