Nassira Abbas

Deputy Division Chief, Monetary and Capital Markets Department at International Monetary Fund

Nassira Abbas is a deputy division chief in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF and a member of the direction team for the Global Financial Stability Report. Prior to joining the IMF, Nassira was Head of market analysis and asset purchases programs division in the Monetary Policy Department of the French central bank, where she also served in roles including deputy head of significant bank division within the European Central Bank Join Supervision Team, senior financial market analyst and senior portfolio manager, and international economist. She also has served as a senior bank analyst in the risk analysis and stress testing unit at the European Banking Authority. Mrs. Abbas holds a Global Executive MBA and Master in Finance at the Institute of High International Finance (IHFI) and La Sorbonne University and a Master of Research in Political Sciences and Economics at Sciences Po Paris School of Research, Paris, France.
