Natacha Postel-Vinay is Assistant Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics, and a CEPR research affiliate. She was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Warwick s Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE) research centre. She has received the Economic History Society s New Researcher Prize and was a finalist for the Economic History Association s Allan Nevins Prize for the best PhD dissertation in U.S. economic history. Her research primarily focuses on banking and financial history, financial stability and regulation, and the macroeconomic effects of fiscal and monetary policy.
