Nawid Siassi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Konstanz. After earning his Ph.D. at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, he worked for two years as the Robert Solow Postdoctoral Fellow at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Moreover, he spent an extended period of time at New York University (NYU) as a Visiting Scholar. His research focuses on the determinants and consequences of inequality, the value of intrahousehold insurance, and the effectiveness of labour market policies and anti-poverty programs.
