Neil Lee is a Lecturer in Economic Geography at the London School of Economics. Before this, he was Head of Socio-Economic Research at The Work Foundation, one of the UK s leading think-tanks, and a Research Fellow in Economics at the University of Lancaster. His research considers cities, economic change and innovation. He recently led a major study for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation on the links between cities, economic growth and poverty.
