Nico Voigtländer (PhD Universitat Pompeu Fabra, 2008), is an Associate Professor of Economics at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is an applied economist with interests in economic growth and development, economic history, and political economy. Nico Voigtländer is a Research Associate at the NBER and a CEPR Research Fellow. He serves as associate editor for the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Journal of Development Economics, and Explorations in Economic History.
