Nicola Persico is a Professor of Economics and Professor of Law and Society at New York University. He has taught at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Research Associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and an Honorary Fellow of Collegio Carlo Alberto. He has published numerous articles in the most important international scientific journals. His research interests focus on political economy, law and economics, criminology and economic theory. He has published numerous articles in prestigious international economic journals, including American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics and Review of Economic Studies.
