Olena Bilan

Olena Bilan is Head of Research and Chief Economist at Dragon Capital, Ukraine’s leading investment firm. Olena has 20 years’ experience analyzing the Ukrainian economy and credit and currency markets and forecasting their development. She was named a Top-3 Best Economic Forecaster for Ukraine by Focus Economics in 2019-2021 and Top-3 Ukraine financial analyst by Thomson Reuters Extel surveys of global institutional investors. Prior to joining Dragon Capital in 2006, Olena worked at IER, a Ukrainian think tank, and investment fund SigmaBleyzer. She co-chairs the Board of Directors of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) and is a member of the Supervisory Boards of VoxUkraine and Center for Economic Strategy.
