Olga Pogarska

Deputy Director, Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department at National Bank Of Ukraine

Olga Pogarska joined the NBU in 2015 as a head of Economic Analysis Office. She was promoted to the position of Deputy Director in 2019. She is in charge of the preparation of analytical materials on economic developments in Ukraine and its external environment, nowcasting and short-term forecasting, as well as policy analysis. She is responsible for the preparation of macroeconomic publications, including one of the NBU's flagship publications, Inflation Report. Prior to joining NBU, she worked at investment fund SigmaBleyzer, a number of think tanks and NGOs, including CASE-Ukraine and HIID macroeconomic project in Ukraine. Olga holds a Master's degree in Economics from the EERC program at the University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (currently Kyiv School of Economics) and a Master's degree in Economics of a Firm from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine).
