Olivier Chanel

Olivier Chanel is CNRS research professor at Aix-Marseille School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris) and is member of the editorial board of the Revue Française d’Economie and Environment and Development Economics. His main interests are health and environmental economics, especially the economic assessment of (non-market) environmental effects. He acts as a specialist advisor for WHO-Europe, European Environmental Agency, IPCC and various French Health institutes, and has been a member of the scientific council of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety.
