Onur Ozgur

Assistant Professor of Economics at University Of Melbourne

Onur Ozgur is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Melbourne Business School. After completing his PhD in Economics at New York University, Onur has held a number of research fellowships at international institutes, including CIRANO, CIREQ, CIRPÉE, and EUI, and later worked at the Université de Montréal as an Assistant Professor of Economics. Onur’s research has been published in leading journals, including the Economic Journal, Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of the European Economic Association, and Journal of Economic Theory. His current research focuses on identifying and measuring the impact of social interactions on the risky behaviour of adolescents, such as smoking and drug and alcohol use.
