Oskar Nordström Skans is a Researcher at the Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy (IFAU) in Uppsala, Sweden, a Professor of Economics at Uppsala University and a member of the Swedish Fiscal Policy Council. He was the Manager of a Major Government Commission reviewing Swedish labour market policies published as the Long Term Commission in 2011. His research, which is published or forthcoming in journals such as The American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies and the Journal of Labor Economics, is focused on labour market networks, firm-level price- and wage determination, and the evaluation of labour market policies.
