Dr. Päivi Karhunen is Head of the Research Team for Russia, at the Centre for Markets in Transition of Aalto University School of Business (the former Helsinki School of Economics). She holds a doctorate degree in International Business from Aalto University School of Business. Her main research interests are foreign business strategies and development of entrepreneurship in emerging economies, which she has approached from an institutional research perspective.
