Paolo Angelini has been at the Banca d’Italia since 1990. At present he is Deputy Director General for Financial Supervision and Regulation. He has done research on issue related to monetary policy, interbank money market, credit rationing and firms growth, banks, interbank payment systems. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics at Brown University in 1994.
