Professor Paolo Volpin is Interim Dean at Cass Business School. Prior to this role, he has been Vice Dean and Head of the Faculty of Finance. He is also a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and a Research Associate of the European Corporate Governance Institute. Prior to joining Cass Business School, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at the London Business School and has been Director of the European Finance Association. He has published widely in the top academic journals: American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Review of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Economic Perspectives and other journals. His research in corporate finance, especially in the field of corporate governance, has won several awards. He holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and a Doctorate and a BA also in Economics from Bocconi University.
