Pascual Restrepo earned his PhD in Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in 2016. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cowles Foundation, Yale, and in 2017 he will join the economics department at Boston University as an Assistant Professor. He specialises in macroeconomics and political economy. His recent research explores the effects of technology on employment, wages and inequality, and how these technological changes shape the response of the economy to business cycles.
