Paulo Santos Monteiro is a Professor of Economics at the University of York in the UK. His research ranges from macroeconomic theory and macroeconomic policy to the use of macro-econometric models in forecasting and policy analysis. Before joining the University of York he has been a faculty member at the University of Warwick. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
