Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Population Studies Center at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

Pawel Krolikowski is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of labour economics and macroeconomics, including the outcomes of individual workers and how these micro phenomena affect aggregate labour market conditions. One paper evaluates whether the large and persistent earnings losses faced by displaced workers can be accounted for by mere bad luck. Another paper derives the implications of the experiences of displaced workers for business cycle dynamics. Pawel received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2013.
