Peng Xu is a Professor and the Director of the Institute of Comparative Economic Studies (ICES), Hosei University. He joined Hosei University in 1992. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tokyo. His areas of expertise includes corporate finance, corporate governance, and law and economics. He has published in several academic journals including Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Restructuring Finance, Journal of the Japanese and International Economies, and Commercial Law Review (Shoji Homu).
