Peter Brummund is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Alabama, and a Research Affiliate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA).  He received a BS from Taylor University, a MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and MA and PhD degrees from Cornell University.  His research interests are in the fields of Labor and Development economics, studying labor markets for low-income individuals.  In 2020, he received a Fulbright Scholar award to visit WU Vienna.
