Peter Cziraki

Assistant Professor, Department of Economics at University Of Toronto

Peter Cziraki is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Economics, and a junior extramural fellow at Tilburg Univeristy, Department of Finance. He received his PhD in Finance summa cum laude from Tilburg University, winning the university-wide award for the best PhD dissertation defended in 2012. He has been a visiting scholar at the Finance Area of Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, law and finance, insider trading, shareholder activism, and managerial labor markets. His work has been published in the Review of Finance, and European Financial Management.
