Peter Hoffmann is Senior Economist in the Financial Research Division at the European Central Bank, where he conducts theoretical and empirical research in the areas of market liquidity and financial intermediation. His work has been published in top academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Financial Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
