Peter Rashish

Director of the Geoeconomics Program, American Institute for Contemporary German Studies at Johns Hopkins University

Peter Rashish is director of the Geoeconomics Program at Johns Hopkins University’s American Institute for Contemporary German Studies, leading activities on US, German, and European Union global economic strategies and writing The Wider Atlantic blog. Previously, he was vice president for Europe and Eurasia at the US Chamber of Commerce, senior advisor for Europe at McLarty Associates, and a consultant to the World Bank, German Marshall Fund, Atlantic Council, and others. Rashish served on the faculty of the Salzburg Global Seminar, is a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, and has written commentaries in The New York Times, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, and The National Interest.
