Philipp Rother

Philipp Rother is the Chief Economic Analyst of the European Commission with a mandate to independently verify the uniform application of the EU governance framework. Prior to this role he worked at the European Central Bank and the IMF with different levels of responsibility. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Mannheim, Germany. His research largely concerns fiscal policy issues in the EU.
