Pietro A. Bianchi

Pietro A. Bianchi is currently assistant professor of Accounting at the University of Miami, School of Business and Administration. Pietro holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Law and master degree in Corporate Tax Law from Bocconi University, Milan. He obtained his PhD in Business Administration at IE Business School, Madrid. His research interests cover international accounting, corporate governance, auditing, and social network analysis. His dissertation “Auditors’ Joint Engagements and Audit Quality: Evidence from Italian Private Firms” is forthcoming at Contemporary Accounting Research. Pietro is ad hoc reviewer for some leading journals in accounting. He is member of the Scientific Committee of the European Accounting Association, as well as member of the publication committee of the International Section of the American Accounting Association.
