Priyank Gandhi is currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. From 2001 to 2004, Priyank was a Manager at the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in India. He has also been a Consultant to investment banks and real estate firms. ​His current research interests include financial intermediaries, regulation, and fixed income markets. His most research explores the impact of implicit government guarantees to large financial institutions on their equity returns.
His research has been presented in seminars (including coauthor presentations) at the University of Chicago, NYU Harvrd, Emory University, Ohio State University, University of Rochester and other leading busines schools. Priyank's research has also appeared in leading academic journals including the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Finance. His work has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Germany's leading newspaper (Handelsblatt), and Harvard Law Review Blog.
