Rafael Repullo is Professor of Economics at the Centre for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI) in Madrid, Spain. He is Fellow of the Econometric Society and of the European Economic Association, Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), member of the Financial Economists Roundtable, founding member of the European Corporate Governance Institute, and member of Academia Europaea. He has a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has been President of the Spanish Economic Association, Executive Vice-President of the Econometric Society, member of the Executive Committee of the Econometric Society and of the European Economic Association, Chair of the Scientific Council of Toulouse School of Economics, and Co-Editor of the International Journal of Central Banking.
