Rasmus Wiese

Rasmus Wiese is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen. He holds a PhD in economics from the same university. His research interests are in the fields of public economics, political economy and empirical macroeconomics. His portfolio of papers include research on: The effects and triggers of structural reforms, like income and inequality. The consequences and causes of fiscal policy and institutions, like public debt and deficits. Voting behaviour and voter preferences. His research is empirical and he uses both econometric methods and experiments to uncover empirical regularities.
