Rebecca Homkes

Project Director and Research Officer at the LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance at London School Of Economics And Political Science

Rebecca Homkes is a Project Director and Research Officer at the LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance where she also serves as Public Policy and Business Engagement Director. Directing the Management project since 2007, she also coordinates global management and training for the project and has led multiple country waves of the project. A Marshall Scholar, she completes her PhD at the LSE in 2011 in International Political Economy, where her thesis focuses on evaluating global public-private partnerships. Homkes also taught Political Economy at the MSc level at the LSE and currently conducts Executive Education in Economics for Enterprise LSE as well as independently. She holds an MSc from the LSE and was Indiana University’s top graduate in 2005 and Herman Wells Scholar with a BS (Honours) in Business (finance, accounting and international studies) alongside a BA (Honours) in Political Science. She previously served as a Fellow at the White House’s President’s Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) and has spent time in Management and Strategy Consulting for Bain & Co. in Chicago and Public Policy Consulting in Melbourne, Australia.
