Rémy Lecat is head of the Trade and Structural Policy Analysis Division at the Banque de France, member of the management committee of the French economic association (AFSE) and lecturer at Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE). He graduated from Sciences Po, Cambridge University and has a PhD from the Paris School of Economics. He manages a unit that prepares positions for high-level international meetings and  conducts academic research on trade, structural reforms and potential growth issues. His own research focuses on productivity, production function and housing. He published articles in the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Review of Income and Wealth, the B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics, among others.
