Richard Friberg is the Jacob Wallenberg professor of economics at the Stockholm School of Economics. His research focuses on imperfectly competitive markets (Industrial Organization) with an emphasis on investigating responses by firms to uncertainty and various risks, in particular exchange rate risk. He has published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance and Marketing Science. He is also the author of Managing Risk and Uncertainty, published by MIT Press. He is an adjunct professor at NHH Bergen and former editor of the Scandinavian Journal of Economics
