Richard Samans is a Managing Director of the World Economic Forum as well as Chairman of the Climate Disclosure Standards Boardand member of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work. He previously served as Director-General of the Global Green Growth Institute; Special Assistant to the President for International Economic Policy and Senior Director for International Economic Affairs of the US National Security Council in the Clinton Administration; and economic policy advisor to US Senate Democratic Leader Thomas A. Daschle.
