Rita Cappariello is Senior Economist in the Directorate General for Economics, Statistics and Research of the Bank of Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ancona and an MA in Economics from the University of East Anglia. Her research covers issues related to the general field of International Macroeconomics with a focus on global value chains, international trade and protectionism.
