Robert Kuenzel

Assistant to the Deputy Director General, DG Economic and Financial Affairs at European Commission

Robert Kuenzel is Assistant to the Deputy Director General in DG Economic and Financial Affairs, European Commission. Robert entered the UK Government Economic Service in 2003, before joining the Commission in 2007. He has since held various positions in DG ECFIN, including as co-editor of the Quarterly Report on the Euro Area and Team Leader for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In 2014-15 he was Director for Euro Area Economic Research at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe, a London-based investment bank.
