Robert Teh

Counsellor in the Economic Research and Statistics Division at World Trade Organization

Robert Teh is Counsellor in the Economic Research and Statistics Division of the World Trade Organization. His research interests include preferential trade agreements, WTO dispute settlement, trade remedies, and trade policy modelling. Since 2003 he has been one of the contributing authors to the WTO's World Trade Report. Prior to that, he worked as a Lecturer in San Francisco State University and the University of the Philippines. He has been involved in the negotiation and implementation of free trade agreements in the Asia-Pacific region. He obtained his PhD in economics from Stanford University.
