Roberta Torre

Roberta Torre is a Member of Cabinet of Commissioner for Economy, Paolo Gentiloni. Prior to joining the Cabinet, she worked as economist in the European Commission’s Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs from September 2012 until September 2020. She started as part of a team responsible for country-specific macroeconomic surveillance and in 2016, she then joined the fiscal policy and surveillance unit, dealing with the implementation of the Stability and Growth Pact and the coordination of fiscal surveillance. Before joining the European Commission, she worked at the Economist Intelligence Unit and at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research.
