Roberto Cellini ( Bologna, 1965), is Professor of Economics at the University of Catania (Italy), and Director of the Department of Economics. He held permanent positions at the University of Bologna (Researcher and Lecturer, 1992-98) and at the University of Catania (Associate Professor, 1998-2002). Over the past years, he held temporary or visiting positions at different overseas universities (e.g., University "Johannes Kepler" in Linz , Hohenheim in Stuttgart, UCL London) . Currently, he is member of the Presidency Board of SIE - the Italian Economic Association. The main fields of research are the theoretical and econometric problems of economic growth, game theory (in particular, differential games) and industrial organisation.
