Roberto Chang

Distinguished Professor at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

Roberto Chang is a Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at New York University and a Research Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He has also held visiting positions at LSE, Princeton University, and Columbia University. Professor Chang has published extensively on monetary economics, exchange rate policy, and financial crises. He has served in the editorial boards of the Journal of International Economics and the Journal of Development Economics, as a member of the Economics Panel of the National Science Foundation, and as a consultant and advisor for financial and policy institutions including the IMF, the World Bank, the Inter American Development Bank, and the BIS. Professor Chang, a native of Peru, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and currently lives in New Jersey.
