Roman Horvath is a Deputy Director at the Institute of Economic Studies, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. Previously, he worked at the Czech National Bank at various positions including Head of Research Unit and Adviser to the Board. He studied at the Central European University and Charles University, where he obtained Ph.D. degree in Economics. He serves as a Co-editor of Czech Journal of Economics and Finance. His research interests concentrate on monetary policy and international finance.
