Rong Qian

Rong Qian is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on international finance and open macroeconomics, with a particular interest in fiscal and debt policy in developing countries. Rong holds three previous degrees from Argentina, a B.A. in Economics from UCEMA, a B.Sc. in Computer Science from USAL, a M.A. in Economics from Universidad de San Andres and more recently, a M.A. in Economics at the University of Maryland. She has also held research positions at the U.S. Congressional Budget Office and the International Monetary Fund.
