Rossana Merola

Economist in the Economic Analysis Division at Economic And Social Research Institute

Rossana Merola is an Economist at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), in the Economic Analysis Division. At the ESRI, Rossana’s work focuses on developing macroeconomic models of the Irish economy as part of a joint project between the ESRI and the Central Bank of Ireland. Before joining the ESRI, she worked at the Economics Department of the OECD and at the European Central Bank. Rossana holds a PhD in Economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain-la neuve and one from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Her research interests cover fiscal and monetary policy, DSGE models and Bayesian estimation.
