Sampawende Tapsoba

Sampawende J-A. Tapsoba is an Economist in the IMF Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) and has experience on a variety of advanced, emerging, and low-income countries. Prior to IMF, he worked as Deputy Head of the Aid Unit at the French Ministry of Finance and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Auvergne (France). He holds a PhD in International Economics from CERDI/University of Auvergne (France). His research interests cover international and development economics, including inclusive growth, fiscal and monetary policies, regional integration, and foreign aid. He is published in academic and policy journals including African Development Review, Economic Modelling, Economics Bulletin, Journal of African Economies, Review of Development Economics, and World Economy.
